About the project
FLOWS is the digital inventory platform for small dams and weirs in Kosovo (FLOWS-CS-DS-15). Field data that used to be kept on paper and spreadsheets is now recorded in a single platform: location and coordinates, structure type and dimensions, ownership, photographs and CAD drawings.
Every record goes through a review workflow (draft, submitted, verified) with a full audit trail. Teams work with separate roles: field surveyors, GIS, quality control (QA/QC) and administrators. Hydrotechnical and environmental reports in Word are generated automatically from the data.
Statistics and open data are available to everyone on the public page; managing the data is limited to authorised users.
